Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PTE Study Zone (the "Service"), operated by PTE Study Zone ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

PTE Study Zone is an online preparation platform for the PTE Academic English test. It provides practice questions, mock tests, and automated feedback and score estimates. Score estimates are generated by automated systems and are for study guidance only. They are not official scores and do not guarantee any particular result on the real examination.

We are an independent study platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Pearson PLC or the official PTE Academic test in any way. "PTE Academic" is a trademark of its respective owner.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute question content or any part of the Service;
• share your account or access credentials with others;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or
• use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features require a paid plan ("VIP"). VIP is offered as a recurring subscription: Monthly (A$30 per month) or 6-Month (A$149 billed every 6 months). Both options provide the same VIP features while the subscription remains active. Prices are confirmed at checkout. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card details. You may cancel a subscription at any time via the billing portal in Settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (including audio recordings and written responses). You grant us a limited licence to process and store that content for the purpose of operating the Service, including generating feedback and score estimates. 6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and question content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your own study.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that score estimates will be accurate or reflect official results.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal liability. You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain provisions (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
